Terms of Service

By creating an account or paying for Glowelly, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short and human. If anything is unclear, email hello@glowelly.shop.

What Glowelly is

Glowelly is an AI-powered wellness service that analyzes selfies and intake-form answers to produce a personalized over-the-counter skincare routine. Glowelly is not a medical device, not a substitute for a doctor, and the analysis is not medical advice or a diagnosis. For active medical concerns — suspicious moles, severe acne, persistent rashes, anything painful — please consult a board-certified dermatologist.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. By signing up you confirm you are. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done under your account.

Subscription & billing

• Glowelly is paid only. The current plan is $14.99 for the first month (a 50% intro discount) and $29.98/month thereafter, billed automatically by Stripe until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the Settings page → “Manage billing”. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
• Past payments are non-refundable — see our Refund Policy for the full rules and the mistaken-charge process.
• If your renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry for up to 3 weeks. We don’t revoke your access during that window; if all retries fail, the subscription cancels automatically.
• We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 14 days’ notice by email. The price you pay never changes mid-period.

How you use it

You agree NOT to:

• Submit photos of someone who hasn’t consented to being analyzed by Glowelly.
• Submit photos that aren’t of a real human face (memes, animals, screenshots, etc.) — quality gates will reject these anyway, but please don’t try.
• Share your account credentials, resell access, or use automated tools to spam analyses.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our prompts / models.
• Use Glowelly for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates another person’s rights.

Each subscription has fair-use limits (currently 8 analyses per billing period with a 24-hour cooldown between attempts). Abuse may result in account suspension without refund.

What you own / what we own

You retain ownership of your photos and the personal data you submit. By using Glowelly you grant us a limited license to process that data to provide the service. We retain ownership of the Glowelly software, the AI prompt design, the curated product catalog, and the underlying analysis pipeline.

The service is provided “as is”

We work hard to make Glowelly accurate and useful, but skincare is personal and AI is imperfect. We make no guarantee that the recommendations will work for you or that the analysis is 100% accurate. You use Glowelly at your own discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glowelly is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including allergic reactions, skin irritation, or any health outcome arising from following the recommended routine. Always patch-test new ingredients (apply a small amount inside the wrist or behind the ear, wait 48 hours, watch for irritation) before full use, and stop using anything that causes a reaction.

Ending the relationship

• You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from Settings.
• We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We’ll contact you first when reasonable.
• Some provisions (limitation of liability, IP ownership, dispute resolution) survive termination.

Changes to these terms

If we change anything material, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Germany. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
